Well done tonight. This was the first proper dark night with everyone having plenty of lumens to keep the bars between the posts. The youth race went off at 18:40 and they raced for 13/14 mins. Lots of improvement from everyone with lap times coming down. Next week the kids will have a different course.
The U14-Adult race started very fast at 19:16. Dean & Lee Harvey along with Travis Harkness went out really fast and never let up. Everyone raced for 35-41 mins. We had a new section added to the course tonight with riders practicing their Whoop action. Dean eventually crossed the line first from Lee with Travis 3rd.
The Girl’s/Women’s race was fast also with Darcy Harkness there riding well. But she won’t be down on the results as she forgot to pick up her chip at registration. Katie turner had another great ride and continues to improve with the longer race time in the U14 category. Holly McCaffrey was in 3rd.
