34 hardy souls arrived for their CX weekly fix for round 6 of the Niall Clarke Oils league. I don’t blame those that decided against making the trip to Jenkinstown as it was a bit wild.
The rain stopped just before the kids races and remained that way for the evening. Ciara O Connor won the girls race with Sky Spence in 2nd and Molly Turner in 3rd. In the Boys, Josh Turner was first, Logan McAreavey in 2nd and Jaxon Jennings 3rd.
The 19:15 race had 22 starters on a wet course. The course rode extremely well even after all the rain. David O Neill loves the trickier conditions and was first in the mens, Harry Hobbs was 2nd and PJ Hynes 3rd. Katie Turner was first in the girls, Hazel Murphy 2nd and Holly McCaffrey 3rd.
A Character building evening was had by all!
