We had the second last round this evening. A little more bite in the air but the conditions were perfect. We also tweaked the course a little. Some good and some bad but these Wednesdays are great to prep for the Big Red Cloud races.
In the youth race, Ava Baker, Ciara O Connor, and Eire McCrystal had a great race. It was Ava proving strongest with Eire Second and Ciara 3rd. The boy’s Logan McAreevey won the boys with Josh Turner 2nd and Nathan Baker 3rd.
The 19:15 race was at its usual fast and furious pace. Conor Murphy didn’t let up all night with 1st with David O Neill doing his series win chances a favor by taking 2nd. Declan McEntee and Pj Hynes had a good battle but Declan just got it on the home straight gallop.
Rhiannan Dolan won once again with Katie Turner 2nd and Holly McCaffery 3rd.
It will be interesting to see how the table is after tonight’s races.
