Week 7 was another dry mild night. Good racing all around and another step closer to the cx season.

The Youth race was back on the new circuit that went down well last week. Aoife Campbell had her Weetabix this morning and led from start to finish. Rionacha Campbell was going well too in 2nd as was Lily McDermott in 3rd.
Leo Gallagher has been a consistent competitor all summer and was first again in the boys with Tadgh Connolly 2nd. 3rd place was a tight one, Billy Lord and Daniel O Sullivan both came to the line together. Daniel just got it and no more taking 3rd
The 19:15 race was another good one. We Started by singing Happy Birthday to Shannon Doyle !!,
Ava Baker is loving the big laps and going from strength to strength every week. Ava was first with Caroline Martinez in 2nd and Sky Spence finishing strong in 3rd.

There was a front group for a while in the boy’s race. It split after lap two with Jack Woods, Rian McCrystal, and Fionn Killeen getting away. The latter two sprinted for the win with Rian getting it on the line. David O Neill had a fast second half of the race to take 3rd place.
This was our final night of the summer series. Thank you for coming. Next will be the start of our winter series where prizes and league tables will be fought for. The big question I have will it be wednesday or tusdays
