This week was Round 6. As usual, it was short and fast racing from everyone.

We changed the course completely for the Youth and incorporated the whoops and mound. In the Youth race, Leo Gallagher continued his good form but was nearly brought back by Jaxon Jennings. Leo just had enough to get to the line first. Cahir Hughes rode strong in 3rd. We had sisters Robyn and Lily McDermott in the girls racing well in their first cx outing of the season.
In the 19:15 race it was heel to the steal, Conor Murphy was all alone very soon into his ride. There was a good battle behind for the remainder of the podium spots between Rian McCrystal, Jack Woods, David O’Neill, and Kevin Keane. it was Rian and Jack that took the spots in the end.
Grace O Rourke is flying this summer and continued her good form in the summer series taking the win from Caroline Martinez in 2nd. Hazel Murphy also back on the CX scene was 3rd.
