We altered the course slightly to change things up. The youths were up first and they had a shorten lap with some extra technical sections. Leo Gallagher was on form again and behind it was another repeat for 2nd and 3rd with Logan McAreavey and Jaxon Jennings. Leo took the tape and logan was able to hold off Jaxon. Aoife Killeen was the only girl but that didnt stop her riding hard!.
For the 19:15 race, we cut out a few sections and added a few with a little directional change. We added the boards as it won’t be long before we will be doing them with the season begins. Tadhg Killeen was out on his own from the start with Fionn Killeen and Rian McCrystal close behind. And behind them was Conor Campbell and Desi Foley. It took a few laps for the split to happen with Fionn and Rian riding away. Rian finished in second with Fionn in third.
Doireann Killeen was riding really well in the Girls race and had a well-decorated athlete in Heather Foley chasing. Doireann won well with Heather taking 2nd and a strong ride by Ffion Dolan in 3rd.
We have two more nights for the summer CX , then we will get back into our winter league.
