Well done to everyone today, A nice wee tune-up for what lies ahead tomorrow in your province.

We hosted the race like our midweek league with combined race categories. I armed myself with the mic and proceeded to multitask. I’m no Paul Joyce but hopefully Paul will be with us soon to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Youth Boys: Ben Cunningham was 1st in the U10 followed by Jaxon Jennings in 2nd  and Logan McAreavy in 3rd. Conor McGuinness was first in the U12 followed by Soren Santini.

Youth Girls: Rionach Campbell was the clear U8 winner with sister Aoife taking first in the U12 followed by Aoife Killeen.

U14- Adults

Doireann Killeen and Niamh Stephens were having a good battle but it was Doireann that finished on the top step with Niamh Stephens in 2nd. Popular 3rd place with the track was Hazel Murphy. Ciara O’ Connor and Eire McCrystal were the only U14s girls. And it was Ciara who came out on top with Eire 2nd. U16 had Emer Heverin taking first and Edith Murphy 2nd

Conor Murphy had a good battle with Tadgh Killeen but it was Conor who pushed on in the final laps with Tadgh taking 2nd. Glen Kinning rounded up the podium in 3rd. Eoin Davis had a strong race, winning the u14 boys with James Cunningham in 2nd and Darragh Murphy in 3rd. The tightest race of the day was the U16 boys, It came down to a sprint finish between Fionn Killeen and James Armstrong. However, it was James who finished first with Fionn just behind and Rian McCrystal in 3rd.
