Nice evening for round two. We had a few more on the line and more new comers. Great to see.

Youth race
It was a Campbell 1 & 2 with Aoife and Ríonach. 3rd was new comer Chloe Baker. Jaxon Jennings was 1st in the boys with Cahir Hughes 2nd and Nathan Baker 3rd. All youth riders did extremy well and we hope to see you next week.
U14-Adults
After a very fast start it was Barry Convery from Newry Wheelers that went to the front and stayed there. Declan McEntee looked like he was closing at one point but Barry was too strong and held on. And hold on he did because the front tyre blew out with a few hundred meters to go. No stranger to an odd triathlon Barry took off on both feet with the bike over the shoulder and jogged on home. Declan followed closly in 2nd and PJ hynes was 3rd.
Ava Baker was first in the girls pacing the 30 mins racing very well for the first time. She was in 2nd for a while but caught Grace O Rourke mid way through the race to take the lead and stay there. Grace suffered a puncture but she rolled home in 2nd. Caroline Martinez rounded out the podium in 3rd.
